A little before and after of a dreamy backyard from our archives!
What happens here
This step involves integrating soft landscaping elements to complement the hardscaping and add natural beauty to the renovated backyard, as seen in the 'after' footage. It includes preparing garden beds with enriched soil, planting a variety of shrubs, trees, and perennial flowers in strategic locations to add texture, color, and privacy. Large planters with statement plants, such as the visible snake plant, are placed to enhance focal points. Decorative elements like ornamental stones and small rock gardens are also incorporated to blend seamlessly with the paved areas and add visual interest. Finally, sod is laid or grass seed is sown in any designated lawn areas.
Goal: Integrate soft landscaping elements to complement the hardscaping and add natural beauty.
