A good stone mason is very hard to come by these days, but we are lucky to have found these guys!
What happens here
Begin installing the stone veneer pieces onto the lower sections of the fireplace wall. Apply a layer of prepared mortar or adhesive to the back of each stone piece using a trowel, and firmly press it onto the wall. Ensure that the stones are laid in an interlocking pattern, creating a natural and stable appearance. The work progresses from the bottom upwards, meticulously arranging pieces to achieve the desired aesthetic. This process involves careful selection and occasional trimming of stones for proper fit.
Goal: Apply stone veneer to the base and lower sides of the fireplace structure.
