Install Under-Roof Ceiling Soffit

What happens here

Before ceiling installation, any electrical wiring for lighting or fans is run through the roof framing. Then, wood tongue-and-groove paneling or other soffit material is cut to size and fastened to the underside of the roof trusses or rafters. This creates a visually appealing and protective ceiling for the covered deck area, often stained or painted for a finished look.

Goal: Wood paneling or soffit material is installed on the underside of the newly framed roof structure, creating a finished ceiling for the covered outdoor space.
