What happens here
After the structural framing of the deck and covered area is complete, protective tape is applied to the top surfaces of the joists. This tape helps to seal and protect the wood from moisture, preventing rot and extending the lifespan of the deck. Subsequently, composite deck boards (referred to as 'deckorators' in the video) are installed over the taped joists. These boards are cut to fit the unique curved design of the deck, creating a durable and aesthetically pleasing surface.
Goal: Install protective tape and composite deck boards.
