What happens here
To prepare the covered structure's ceiling for lighting and fans, furring strips are installed. These 2x4s are attached perpendicular to the existing rafters, allowing for a change in the ceiling direction and providing a level surface for the final ceiling material. A detailed layout for eight low-voltage lights and two ceiling fans is drawn directly onto the plywood sheeting. This plan ensures precise placement of wires and cutouts for each fixture.
Goal: Prepare the ceiling for electrical installations and change ceiling direction.
