What happens here
After preparing the area and donning personal protective equipment (respirator, cap, and gloves), the painter begins applying the dark gray/black paint using an airless paint sprayer. Start by carefully spraying the perimeter edges of the accent wall, including the top where it meets the ceiling and the side edges where it meets the masked adjacent walls. Use an A-frame ladder to safely reach higher areas. Maintain a consistent distance from the wall (typically 10-12 inches) and use controlled, overlapping strokes to ensure an even coating without drips. The goal in this initial pass is to establish clean borders and provide a base layer for subsequent coverage.
Goal: Apply an initial coat of paint to the edges and upper sections of the accent wall.
