What happens here
Once the final coat of paint has dried to the touch (but not necessarily fully cured), carefully begin removing the painter's tape and plastic sheeting. Pull the tape at a 45-degree angle away from the freshly painted surface to achieve the cleanest lines and prevent paint from peeling. Remove all drop cloths and plastic coverings. After de-masking, immediately clean the paint sprayer according to the manufacturer's instructions to prevent paint from drying inside the components, which can damage the equipment. Store any remaining paint properly.
Goal: Remove protective coverings and clean all tools.
