Proper storage is essential for extending the life of paint sprayer tips. A traditional method involves storing tips in an empty paint can filled with mineral spirits, which prevents paint from drying and keeps the tips fresh. A more organized alternative is the 'Tip Saver' carousel, a specialized device that keeps multiple tips submerged in solvent, allowing for easy retrieval without getting hands dirty. Another innovative solution is an hourglass-shaped container pre-filled with a water-based product; when inverted, the liquid settles, allowing users to pick out tips without contacting the solution.
