5 Electrical Tools Every Homeowner Should Own

What happens here

To safely run electrical cable through a stud, it's crucial to ensure the cable is positioned far enough from the edge to prevent screws from piercing it during drywall installation. Use a Milwaukee tape measure to measure the stud. The cable should be placed at least 1 1/4 inches from the stud's edge. Mark the drilling spot at the center of the stud, approximately 1 3/4 inches from the edge, if the stud is 3 1/2 inches wide. Then, use a Milwaukee M18 drill with an appropriate drill bit to bore a hole through the stud at the marked location.
