What happens here
Following the main deck framing, the substructure is extended to accommodate multiple levels and integrated staircases. This involves additional framing to create the different deck heights and the sloped framework for the stairs leading down to the yard and the future patio area. An enclosed section (possibly for storage or a built-in feature) is also framed out during this stage. The video also shows the initial placement of large, irregular stone blocks to create retaining walls and define the edges of the patio area, using heavy equipment for positioning.
Goal: Build out the multi-level deck framework and establish stone retaining walls for the patio.
