3 Water Heater Fixes Every Homeowner Should Know

What happens here

The presenter concludes the project by reviewing all the completed maintenance tasks. The old anode rod has been successfully changed, the water heater tank has been thoroughly flushed to remove sediment, the old leaky drain valve has been replaced with a new, more efficient full-port drain valve, and a new CPVC drain line for the T&P relief valve has been installed and routed to the floor drain. He confirms that everything is working correctly and that these improvements will provide long-term benefits in terms of water heater efficiency, lifespan, and overall safety.

Goal: Confirm all maintenance tasks are successfully completed and the water heater is fully operational and safer.

Going right there to the drain. Perfect. There we go. We changed the anode rod, got that all hooked up in place, got a new full port drain valve installed. We got this water heater cleaned out with that new cleanout tool that I got off of Amazon. I got this T&P line back behind me hooked up and now if it ever does discharge again, well, guess what? It's right there at the drain. That's going to work out and be so much better for these guys. I really hope the videos are helping.
