What happens here
This video provides an in-depth review and demonstration of three distinct specialized painting tools: the 'Caulking Garbage Can' for efficient caulk cleanup, the 'Wooster Painter's Comb' for effective paint brush maintenance, and the 'ProVinci' container designed to keep paint rollers wet for extended periods and act as a squeegee. Although the requested context was 'Large Area Painting with Wide Roller,' this video focuses on individual tools that enhance efficiency and reduce mess in various painting tasks, offering practical insights for both DIY enthusiasts and professional painters.

(10,476 characters)This Christy Idaho painter here on paint like TV for another tool talk Tuesday. I've got some tools to show you today I've been in another show and I found some new tools and some people have sent me some new tools in the mail today We're going to be talking about the caulking garbage can. I think that's what's called caulking garbage can We're going to be talking about the Provincy right here You know, this isn't a water bottle. It's something that you store a paint tool in and then the Wusers painters comb I do have three tools for our next tool talk Tuesday that we'll be talking about So stay tuned for that video coming up and we'll maybe leave the link somewhere if we get it done But this is the Richards 18 inch flex frame We're going to show you what this tool all is all about We've got another tool that I grabbed off of foam pros display at the Orlando orville show so or or gill orville something like that on the double mini roller So this might be better than the last roller I showed you from Foam pro and then it got the black bag. This is the mystery bag I was sent this bag right here and This is interesting. It's kind of like one of those grab bag things You know you don't know what's in the bag What's in this bag is some really really cool stuff? And this is going to be a game changing product when it comes to drywalling. I believe so It's called taping mud. So I'm going to talk about that in our next video So stay tuned for that video video or video So let's get talking about the three tools for today on today's video All right, we're I'm going to start off the first tool of the day to talk about here on tool talk to Jose And that's the cocking garbage cans. So I've been sent these things. They sent me a box of them I sent them out to some of the paint like mafia members That's one of our groups on Facebook that I started so and I've asked them to give me some feedback and it was interesting I saw some guys using it and stuff I haven't got to the point that I've used these things yet and It's interesting. So I'm going to show you what they are and I've never used one so I believe I can figure this out really quick and it's not an actual garbage can But watch this so I got a cocking gun. We've got to just release release my tube of cocking and I'm going to slide this onto My tube of cocking I can put it in my cocking gun Now I'm ready to go. I got my garbage can ready to go So check this out. We'll show you how it works Pull up my I got to take this off as it got to put a hole in my cocking so Never know something on Good cocking does actually have a knife that actually cuts the tube So now I got my cocking ready to go. I got my car on garbage can on there So now I can start just you know cocking away cocking away doing all my little cocking You have love love love and I'm wiping my cocking and so this is a what you call you can see that right there So that's interesting. It says Dripless so this is a dripless gun apparently So it's not what's the day So anyways, this is where my garbage can comes in handy So I'm now you know doing my cocking smeared it all around doing my thing and I've got extra cocking on my hand Guess what I can just wipe it into the garbage can you don't have to wipe it on your pants no more We typically just put it someplace on the house. You got an empty nail head somewhere you wipe it or there's masking around You know the edge of the floor when we're cocking base for something like that. We just wipe it on a masking But look if you don't have someplace to wipe it If you don't want to wipe it on your pants, which you should not be doing you can just put it in the garbage can just like this I'm not sure how long it's going to take till the garbage can gets full and you don't have any place to wipe it anymore But it seems like it's functioning pretty well I'm just taking and taking wiping it off my fingers. I'm cleaning it up my the mess I made on my table and I'm just kind of just wiping it in the same spot. It just keeps going farther and farther into the garbage can. Oh my god a front to the garbage can. I got it back to the garbage can So they're having like I'm kind of curious like you know is this thing going to get in the way How many garbage cans you know do you need you know when you're cocking is it going to break if I drop it? It's actually strapped on there. They're just two A tube just cuts held together by a zip tie You know if I drop this is it gonna break it doesn't Here like it's gonna break but smash Throws caulking Everyone so it held up. So there it is. It's the caulking garbage can. You know It's not something I would ever use. So it's not something I would stock in my vehicles But you know is it something you would use on let us know down in the description below Is it a do-it-yourself or tool or professional painter's tool on the exterior when we're caulking next year There's always some plays that you can wipe your extra caulking that actually will serve a purpose and that's like on nail heads So when you're caulking a seam you have extra caulking on your feet finger We utilize it over the top of nail heads someplace else that we've beneficial Cocking and interiors extra caulking typically goes on our nine-inch paper Or someplace else on once again that is useful the caulking garbage can I am not sure once all look and see if I can figure out How much they cost to let you know somewhere down in the video description below If you want to visit their website it's caulkinggarbagecan.com For how-to videos if you want to learn how to use it I showed you how to use it, but if you want more information There you have it on my show that one to you may get on to the Wooster Painters call as soon as I saw this I liked it instantly without even having to use it I typically buy barbecue brushes In or just those cheap two-dollar wire brushes do clean my My brushes out with with water to get the dry paint off of them been doing that for years But check this out. I have a comb that actually has a comb now that you can comb your bristles out get them straight once your brush is clean I really like that. It's two and one. It's got brass bristles on one side And these are a lot nicer smoother bristles in your typical barbecue brush and they're tighter together so that Inside the holes a lot tighter. So they're going to be able to clean your brush a lot better Once again, it's Wooster quality Wooster makes really good products I'm from most part most of the brushes are on their their professional brushes You're hiding and they also make inexpensive brushes too, but this is a quality tool It's probably going to last you I would assume probably three times longer than a barbecue brush I don't know what it costs because this was one of those things at a show I saw it and I thought oh my gosh, I really like that and the guy said I can have it So I took it and I'll be giving it away to someone here leave a comment in the comment section below Why you want it and I'll send it to you if the reason's good enough So it's just it's called the Wooster painters comb I've never seen one in a paint store before I'm not sure if it's something new if it's been around if you can easily find it or not but I would actually have one of these in every single one of my painting vehicles and this is you know this part of the the comb right here I'll tell you this is not going to clean your bristles at all It's going to do anything when it comes to getting the paint out, but here's where it comes in use Some guys will take water, force water up into the bristles to get the paint out of the brush And it actually is a method that works pretty quick But sometimes the bristles get jammed up inside there and kinked and stuff This is how you could comb them, get your bristles out again Or if they were jammed into a bucket and some of them kinked or bent You can comb them out and get them straight once again. There is a stray bristle right there not acting properly. Now he's going he's been eliminated So there you go. This is um, it's a brass So the typical ones that I use of barbecue brushes, they're not brass or just steel But there it is. This is the Wooster comb. I think it's a must-have tool. Got a good point. Now onto this interesting little Dole right here the pro-vincy. I'm not sure if I pronounced in that rock pro-vincy pro-vincy So this is um when I first saw it I'm just I thought I had no big deal. I'm didn't really you'll catch my eye But then I took it out and used it and I liked it a lot. So this is a Roller you can take if you roll the launch your roller sitting in a pan You don't want to take in cover with plastic because you're just adding more plastic You know to the environment to our landfills and stuff This is going to save you from adding more plastic to the environment. There you go Though at right inside that thing It's going to stay till you come back for lunch your roller is not going to dry The interesting thing is I put them in these things before several weeks later The roller was still wet not dried out. Here's another thing you can take put your roller inside there You can squeeze My sound effects now your roller stays inside there I can cover it up and leave it inside there come back use it another day I can take open it up stick my roller back in it and There I go away. I go. This is a really cool tool now One of the challenges is is what I noticed when we started using them Now I've got white paint in here now. I've got a black roller this white paint is still wet I put it in my black roller put it inside there now. I just mixed black and white paint now. I got gray paint so I noticed it doesn't um because you know there's not a lot of air circulation in there It's really hard for the paint to dry inside this thing. It's really hard to clean too So it really works good When you're using the same color over and over again But if you're going to use it for a different color you have to make sure it's 100% dry Better yet you got to clean it. It does take some effort to clean it But it is the provincie. It's got a little slot right here. You know that your roller goes into That's it slides down So you can see it just sets right inside there So it just keeps a better airtight seal. So you can see in this slot slides over that slot Now it is airtight. It's nice Squeezable rubber. There you have it three more tools that you can decide whether
