Once all carpet treads are installed, perform a final inspection. Check each tread to ensure it is securely attached, aligned correctly, and free from wrinkles or bubbles. Trim any excess carpet fibers along the edges for a clean, finished look. Vacuum the entire staircase again to remove any loose fibers or dust accumulated during installation. Allow any adhesive to fully cure according to the manufacturer's instructions before heavy use of the stairs. This step completes the project, resulting in a safe and aesthetically pleasing staircase.
