Step 4 · Pump Septic Tank

Insert the vacuum hose into the septic tank, typically through the largest opening. Start the vacuum pump and allow it to draw out the contents. Move the hose around to ensure all solids and liquids are removed from the bottom of the tank. Continue pumping until no more waste can be extracted.
