Step 2 · Check for Obstructions in the Garbage Disposal Chamber

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Shine a bright flashlight into the disposal chamber. Carefully inspect for any large objects or debris lodged inside. Use tongs or pliers to gently remove any obstructions. Pay close attention to the area around the impellers.
