Step 3 · Install the Evaporator Coil (Indoor Unit)

Install the evaporator coil inside the existing furnace or air handler, or in its own dedicated casing. Ensure proper sealing around the coil to prevent air leaks. Connect the condensate drain line to the coil's drain pan and route it to a suitable drainage point. If replacing an existing coil, ensure the new unit matches the existing system's tonnage and refrigerant type.
