Setting Up Temporary Electric Fencing for Bale Grazing

You Were Right About Electric Tractors! No way it can do this!
What happens here
To create controlled grazing paddocks for cattle, a temporary electric fence needs to be set up. Unroll electric fence wire from a geared reel. Insert a Strainrite pig tail step-in post into the ground to hold the wire. Attach the electric fence wire to the post, ensuring it is taut and at an appropriate height to deter cattle. Extend the fence around the area where hay bales have been placed, connecting it to additional step-in posts as needed. Ensure the fence is properly energized (energizer implied, not shown in detail) to create a psychological barrier that cattle will learn to respect, thus controlling their grazing area and promoting pasture recovery.
Goal: Construct a temporary electric fence to define grazing paddocks.
Tools and materials
- Electric Fence Energizer — Providing electrical pulse to the fence wire (implied to be present and active)
- Electric Fence Wire — Conducting electricity to create the barrier
- Strainrite Geared Reel Strainrite — Dispensing and collecting electric fence wire
