Position the Ladder Against the Siding

What happens here

With the LadderBoot securely attached, carefully raise the extension ladder. Position the top of the ladder, specifically the LadderBoot's cushioned surface, against the desired section of the house siding. The wide, soft contact area of the LadderBoot will distribute the ladder's weight and prevent direct metal-on-siding contact, thereby safeguarding vinyl or metal siding from scratches, indentations, or other damage. Ensure the ladder is at a safe angle, typically a 4:1 ratio (one foot out for every four feet up).
