Makita Steel Rod Flush Cutters

What happens here

Continuing with Makita products, the video introduces two steel rod flush cutters: an 18V version and a newer 40V XGT version. These tools provide clean, burr-free cuts with minimal sparks on rebar and threaded rod. The 40V XGT model cuts 30% faster and closer to the concrete surface (just under 3/32 of an inch) compared to the 18V model (1/8 of an inch). The 40V version also features a safer paddle switch, which runs the tool only when the finger is on the trigger, and an added brake that stops the blade within two seconds.
