This project details the process of cleaning a vintage, heavily rusted Jeep chassis and engine to prepare it for restoration. It involves manually moving the chassis, performing a detailed inspection of the grime and rust, systematically disconnecting and protecting sensitive engine components, applying a heavy-duty degreaser, and thoroughly pressure washing the entire assembly. The outcome is a much cleaner chassis, allowing for better assessment of its structural integrity and future repair needs.
