Same trusty tool that does your propress for copper and your megapress for steel can also do pureflow Pex. So you're going to take this Viega manufactured Pex, put it in the fitting. You can see by the witness marks it's fully inserted. Also, if you forget to press this last one, it'll leak and that's not a problem cuz you can just fix it right up wet or dry. Put the ring in the hub, press away. Now you can open Viega soda pops. Nice. Crimp done. So what makes this crimp style superior to others? Yeah, so this is going to be your alternative to either expansion or crimp. Versus expansion, you have to heat the tube, expand it, put a fitting on, physically hold it, wait for it to settle, then you test it. Problem is if it didn't set right, you have to drain the system, dry it, do it all over again. Viega fittings, you can do it wet or dry and it's consistent and permanent every time.
