Why do people HATE me for doing this to the Farm?
What happens here
With the drag harrow properly attached and lowered, begin driving the tractor or ATV across the pasture. The harrow's design allows it to mechanically break apart the dried manure pats, fragmenting them into smaller pieces. This action effectively distributes the organic matter more evenly across the soil surface, preventing large accumulations that inhibit grazing and accelerating the decomposition process. Additionally, the harrowing action lightly aerates the top layer of the soil and can help de-thatch the pasture, encouraging new grass growth.
Goal: Mechanically break up and spread manure pats across the pasture.
