When dropping a tree goes wrong.....RUN!
What happens here
Start the Stihl MS 500i chainsaw. Make an initial notch cut on the side of the tree where you want it to fall. Then, begin the back cut from the opposite side. If the chainsaw blade gets pinched by the tree's weight, insert felling wedges into the back cut and gently tap them with a hammer to release the pressure. If the tree's lean or the cut continues to cause pinching, switch to a more powerful chainsaw, such as the Stihl MS 661. Continue the back cut with the larger saw, making sure the tree falls in a safe direction, away from buildings or vehicles. Once the tree is down, use the chainsaw to cut off any remaining limbs.
Goal: Safely fell the oak trees and remove remaining limbs.
