What happens here
Place the pre-cut wooden post into the U-shaped cradle of the secured metal post base. Ensure the post is seated firmly at the bottom of the cradle. Use structural screws or bolts that fit through the holes on the sides of the post base and into the wooden post. Drive these fasteners in using a ratchet wrench until the post is securely attached to the base.
Goal: Securely attach the wooden post to the installed base.
