What to look for buying a UTV or ATV...advice to SAVE MONEY and BIG PROBLEMS!

What happens here

Assess the machine's usage by comparing the engine hours to the mileage. High hours with low miles suggest a workhorse (e.g., farming), while low hours with high miles suggest faster trail riding. Pay close attention to the rubber CV boots on all axles. Feel around them for any grease or tears. Grease indicates a compromised boot, allowing dirt and grit to enter, which will eventually cause bearing failure. Inspect the plastic body panels and handlebars for excessive scrapes or bends, which can signal rollovers or hard impacts. Check the radiator for any visible bends or misalignment; a bent radiator is a strong indicator the ATV has been rolled. Examine the front bumper for signs of impact, such as bent push bars or damaged paint, suggesting the machine was used to push objects. Also, look underneath the ATV for damage to the frame, swing arms, or any other structural components.

Goal: Identify potential mechanical issues and previous abuse
