Initial Caulk Application Demonstrations

What happens here

The process begins with a demonstration of caulk application using a caulking gun. A continuous bead of blue sealant is dispensed along an L-shaped wooden jig, or "pocket bead." Immediately after application, a blue plastic caulk smoothing tool is used to create a clean, uniform, and aesthetically pleasing finish on the caulk bead. This initial demonstration sets the stage for the challenge, aiming for a consistent bead, implied to be 24 inches long. Following this, a second individual performs another caulk application using white sealant, applied with a different caulking gun onto a separate section of the wooden jig. This second application is quicker and not shown being smoothed, serving as another example of direct caulk application.
