Evaluate Caulk Bead Length

What happens here

Once the caulk bead is applied, carefully use a tape measure to determine its exact length. Measure from the very beginning of the continuous bead to its end. Compare this measured length to the target length (e.g., 24 inches) to see how accurate your estimation was. Note any breaks in the bead, as the measurement usually applies only to continuous sections, or the first break point may be used as the stopping point for measurement.
