What Nobody is Telling You about Starting Your Own Farm, STRESS! $$$$

What happens here

Implement regenerative pasture management through rotational grazing. The farm operates on an 'intensive grazing program' with the goal of regenerating the soil. This involves allowing cattle to consume about one-third of the grass, trample another third, and leave one-third before moving them to the next paddock. This prevents overgrazing and allows the pasture to recover fully over approximately 45 days. The farm aims to establish 90 separate paddocks for this system. The cattle's manure ('butt fertilizer') helps add carbon to the soil, which improves water retention, fixes nitrogen, and ultimately reduces the need for synthetic fertilizers. This farm has not used commercial fertilizer for 7-8 years. The practice aims for 'low input with maximum output'.

Goal: Enhance soil health and maximize pasture productivity through rotational grazing.
