The dust shroud will effectively capture the dust generated by the blade, directing it through the hoses to the dust extractor. Observe the cutting process; there should be minimal to no visible dust escaping into the air, indicating the system is working efficiently. Make sure to keep both hands firmly on the saw for control and stability.
