Install the Railing Cap

What happens here

Once the notch is perfectly cut and cleaned, carefully lift the prepared composite decking board and position it over the railing post. Align the notch with the post and gently lower the board into place. The notch should fit snugly around the post, allowing the decking board to sit flush on top of the railing structure. This completes the installation of the railing cap, providing a finished look to the deck railing.
