We are on an efficiency mission here at Premier Outdoor Living!!

What happens here

After completing all the parallel saw cuts, use a sharp wood chisel to remove the waste material between these cuts. Position the chisel at an angle and tap it with a mallet (or use hand pressure if the wood is soft) to break off the wood strips. Work from the outside edges towards the center of the notch to gradually clear out the bulk of the material.

Goal: Clear out the rough material from the notch area.
