What happens here
Install the remaining horizontal supports at the uppermost step positions, connecting the stringers. As with previous steps, confirm each piece is level using a spirit level and that the overall structure maintains squareness with a framing square. At this stage, the basic stair frame skeleton is complete and ready for comprehensive squaring and leveling checks.
Goal: The final horizontal supports are added at the top levels of the stair frame, completing the basic skeletal structure.
