Steam and Scrape Wallpaper

Wallpaper removal can be FUN. #relaxing #satisfying
What happens here
Begin by applying the heated plate of a wallpaper steamer directly to a section of the old wallpaper on the wall. Hold the steamer plate in place for a sufficient amount of time to allow the hot steam to penetrate the wallpaper layers and soften the adhesive underneath. Once the wallpaper appears softened or begins to bubble, carefully use a broad wallpaper scraper (also known as a putty knife or broad knife) to gently lift and peel the loosened wallpaper away from the wall. The video shows two distinct layers of wallpaper being removed: an outer plaid patterned layer and an inner yellow underlayer. Continue this process, moving the steamer to a new section while you scrape the area that was just steamed, working systematically across the wall until all the wallpaper is removed.
Goal: Remove wallpaper from the wall
