Design and Plan Landscape Lighting

What happens here

Before purchasing or installing any lights, carefully plan the desired layout. Observe the types of lighting shown in the video for inspiration on placement: path lights along walkways (seen at 0:13-0:19), up-lights for trees and features (seen at 0:23-0:25), and integrated step lights for safety and aesthetics (seen at 0:20-0:22). Sketch out your outdoor space on graph paper, marking key areas to illuminate and routes for low-voltage cabling. Consider the purpose of each light (safety, accent, general illumination) and the desired visual effect.
