nope i don't want to crush them people just to see a bracket it's about midway to the bed [Music] is this new uh yeah this should be a brand new product for us and this is my temptee so then once you get it up mark you gotta lock it yep there's uh four lashes on you what happens if you forget to do that um do you jeopardize losing your load you possibly could but oh you could seriously yeah and no okay not a game changer if you don't if you forget to lock them and who are you with i'm staying genetically nice to meet you yeah nice to meet you yeah by the way is there anything else new by kimchi yeah so we have a 14 uh split deck okay why is that new i've seen a lot of split decks before um jeffy is actually known for our semi trailers yup and uh we decided to enter the equipment trailer is this the first year this would be our first year making equipment trailers we have been in business since 1884. oh yes i think every semi-trailer going down the road it says tinty on it somewhere on it i mean that's not new so we're the uh longest-running trailer manufacturer in north america okay and uh just looking to diversify our portfolio and that's why we we're starting to come out with larger and larger models all are you all aluminum we are everything there's going to be some componentry that's going to have steel for like steel bracketry right right but as for our design we utilize the same manufacturing techniques on the semi-side and applied them to these trailers so you're going to see no aluminum like structural welds you're going to see everything you know magna lock hooked everything's going to be fastened together why not aluminum welds is that weaker when you do aluminum welds it actually weakens uh so you can start to over time get stress fractures in those welds so this will actually provide a a longer lasting it's a proven technology that we use on the that's so nice because those semis are you know carrying 26 tons of product day in and day out this is the exact same stuff that we use hey very blunt question are you stealing technology from air tow trailers by having that thing go down why did you say that i'm guessing you weren't going to say yeah we're technically stealing but we don't want that they have a different uh style set up um i haven't honestly looked at their setup i'm just wondering what what the difference was i mean it's just so similar and you don't see this set up very often right i mean our biggest difference is they're steel we're aluminum okay yep good question all right mark hey i appreciate your time appreciate lined up to put in a vibrator on a trailer yeah it's going to have a dump body vibrator in here we're still testing a few things figuring out the right i guess mounting place for it the right different foundation for what we want to do we've got a bracket in this one this is our show trailer so where's the bracket at uh it's underneath the kit i could probably lift it up yep i do i want to see what it looks like actually they're standing behind it nope i don't want to crush them people just to see a bracket it's about midway to the bed oh i see it right there this was right here so if you guys are familiar with dump trucks and things like that we use i don't but other people use vibrators on their dump trucks so when it goes up you want to get all that material out you're not sending the guy up into the bed to crawl in to clean it out is there any other companies actually doing that no no we're kind of the person who's doing it so that's something you guys are interested in it's it's in development through watchdogs so you got to go check it out at watchdogtrailers.com there you go okay so these are called air tow trailers but if you look they drop these all the way down to the ground but i don't i wonder if they can do that with the dump trailers hey did that guy tell you if you could drop this all the way down to the ground you guys just like that one does and it dumps this way so it's got a ball valve here to twist it back and forth to use different cylinders very cool what do you guys think of it that can't be right they've got a dump on it and now they've got a enclosed trailer i wonder if you could switch them hey do you guys know do you think i think you could switch the dump with the enclosed trailer i mean look at it looks like it's the same frame right it looks like they got the dump on one and it closed on another almost like they're interchangeable that might be a cool thing to find out good how about you i'm stan danny nice to meet you nice to meet you is this almost the same setup right here i mean did you guys just take the dump and then put the enclosed on top of it no no okay okay it just looks like it i mean i'm looking at the framework here i'm going all right it is very similar but you have two frames inside of this one so this one is separate you only have one frame with utility sides we have a utility model that you could put that closure but that's what we do on our utility models we put down closure yeah in this one you actually have two frames inside okay how much how much does that air tow trailer like this go for uh we'll probably tell you the starting point is 20. 000 okay and then you were talking about the two frames so so you have one frame in here yeah which is the normal frame that is going to carry your your your load and then the other one which is the one that does okay okay anything else we should know about these air tow trailers well it's more about four to five months in production time we carry 30 plus models we are 25 years old in production we started in 1996. we're family owned business and we manufacture uh just traverse the lower to the ground that's you guys build these yes that's correct okay so what are we looking at it guys you're actually looking at what we call a crash trailer and we use these a lot in the oil field where we come from which is west texas out there in west odessa so uh we decided to build the system because we're always loading up trash and so it's a pain to unload you know it kills a lot of time so we wanted to to build this system to make it easier okay look at that [Music] of course is patent pending this is called the texas push-up shop and if these guys wanted to get a hold of you about more information they can that's oscar that's oscar he's my son-in-law nice so i'm walking by and he goes hey man how are you i'm like good what the heck is this most innovative product yet that's right that's what you told me right so tell me about it because i don't really know anything about it it is called roadmaster active suspension okay and basically what it does is um hooks onto your pickup truck to help you pull a camper or trailer comes fully assembled just like this in the box so this is what you get in the box you get in the box one for each side of the truck okay goes on the back half of your leaf springs that's the part you're gonna sag down when you hook up your trailer your camper your boat whatever it goes on just like this one hook one bolt you hold one side with a wrench you turn this side with the wrench and it just holds itself on with its own tension just like that hand tighten and then what happens basically you would keep doing that until you can fit a little filler gauge in there to set a gap lock lock the lock nuts in place on that gap and you're done set it for get it maintenance free never hardens your rod with or without a load never adversely affects it in any way and it stays on permanently stays on permanently with or without a trailer with or without a camper you never have to adjust it what's the benefit of this uh increase your towing ability increase your stability and handling 24 7 increase your traction 24 7. and then when you hook up a load that gap you set is forced to open a little bit and all it wants to do is pull itself back together kind of like a slinky you play with when your kid you stretch it wants to come back together so it's trying to close the gap that you set okay which keeps your wheels planted on the ground back half your leaf bringing a nice arch at all times oh man you weren't lying where are you yeah uh what is the have you guys do you guys know what an increased capacity is yep you're looking around 50 payload thirty three percent tongue weight on the top come on yeah cereal yeah i mean now uh they just say cereal serious if me if me doing that puts you over your gvw that's between you god and the d.o.t right but uh technically what you can put in the bed about 50 more on the tongue with 33 that's that's insane and never have to adjust it never hardens your rod that's the main thing people like about it okay but is that actually dot compliant um as long as you're on your gvw right i mean but i can't make your engine pull more your brakes stop look you know faster but um or stop more weight but as far if you're under yeah it's gonna help you to tow a lot better keep it from squatting as much as you normally would if you're squatting three inches i can pretty much level you out and really wow okay
