What happens here

This project details how to prepare a Case 321F compact wheel loader for winter operations by replacing its standard dirt tires with specialized snow tires and attaching an Arctic Sectional Sno-Pusher. The process involves using an impact wrench for tire removal and installation, a bottle jack for lifting the machine, and operating the loader to swap out tires and attach the snow plow.

all right tiny come on get that tire on we're paying you staying around I'm foring during the winter how's stuff going for you guys over there in Chicago swe FL sweeping floor tell me about special delivery is right in front of me and he's going in the wrong place we got to chase him down we got to catch them snow tires guys I've never ran snow tires on a loader an Arctic runs snow tires on their loaders so they're coming out to me and bringing some snow tires for the case 321f that I'm going to be leasing from them this year I don't know if we can get up there hey I want some of them what you got on the back there looking for you where's this machine at right up here right up here all right yeah I don't know if we can get through up here so I'm going to go around just follow me around I'll show you the right way we're getting eyeballs we're getting eyeballs it's a brand new account I don't know every everybody at this account yet we got 18 new schools that we took on this year we had another massive account and then we lost it at the last minute by like that much but that tells me that the people that got it which were the existing contractor if they screw up one thing that means we're in so we could be potentially getting that but you can't screw much up when it's 45° out in the end of December going into January I've never had weather like this how are you good and you good I'm Stan how you doing s James James nice to meet you sir so you're going to be the tire changing professional on the scene today sir oh I was told you were changing I I just had to deliver them to you there you go y you can tell must have a softer rubber you can look at the siping one two one two 3 four five blocks across each block has double siying in it Dave I'm stand nice to meet you nice to meet you so that had five blocks across and as we look at dirt tires 1 2 3 no siping in them and uh let's go take a look at what what we did so we have just dirt tires on this but this is how we compensated to get it so that we could actually run these and give it attract we filled them with beet juice boom we have the same one two three across but look each one has separate you can see all the separate blocks that we put them in put in them so and that made a big difference but these tires are shot that's going to be the next set we do right now we're doing this case 321f and we're renting it right from Arctic at leasing it so that's what I got to lift up the back for you guys okay we brought a bot Jack but if that'll lift it it'll make it nice for us okay well I got her fired up and ready to go so when we're when we get to that point all right we'll do it so is this yours or ours well it's your machine okay yeah yeah I'm just using it for the year for me leasing it we'll strap it or something get it up so if it was mine would you just Fork right into it we'll strap it either way Ian we'll get it up want to do we don't want to cause damage we just want to change some tires yeah how was you guys' drive in uh wasn't too bad till we hit Wisconsin and Wisconsin's is putting beet juice down on all the roads and people are driving like idiots oh is it freezing over there nothing on the radar nothing in the weather till tonight but we hit like 150 Mi where they be juice everything what does that do then um beus is liquid deicer y it's 68% less corrosive than Salt y but they just put it down so but it doesn't does when I say when they put it down does it leave like a red an orangish tint at all well you can see the liines where they putting it down but yeah over time you can see the red in it yeah I don't know if they theirs look pretty clear coming out going down the road and getting all over the windshield but yeah usually beet juice has got a red tint to it yeah cuz I got that that loader over there is filled with beet juice the tires are it just keeps the ice from forming there's so much salt in the beet juice mhm they don't tell you how corrosive it is they just say it's less corrosive than [Music] Sal do you guys run the same brand of snow tires on everything then we run everything that comes with the okay so this is the brand you guys prefer is what we got right Arctic runs so many case loaders for their own snow removal that they have become the largest case dealer in the United States and when they cycle a machine out of their active inventory then they allow it to be leased to other people but I'll get the true story right from Arctic themselves because it's an amazing program and I don't know enough about it yet so do you Blue Line Mark these two then huh do you Blue Line Mark these two no the blue line is just from the factory okay stating that they put them on and the guys tored them at the factory that's what the blue Lin is for that's what it's for yep so here's the factory Blue Line blue line then we got the gun turn down so we don't over huh we got the gun turned down so we don't overtighten them oh you do okay you guys do the maintenance for Arctic then or uh we got five guys that do he's regular truck driver I'm a driver and I do everything from got as far as repairs and stuff like that and then uh I'm a foran during the winter he's one of my main operators how's stuff going for you guys over there in Chicago s FL sweepman floor tell me about it all right tiny come on get that tire on we're paying you staying around first first two tires are free second ones we don't get until get us some dinner I'm just here to look pretty well dang na so you're an operator yeah how do you like these tires and this is what you run then all winter right yeah is this your I mean do you notice a big difference between these and dirt Treads I haven't you haven't noticed no okay good to know I don't know how you don't no this I mean crap we uh just from the grooving we did on these sons of a duck notice a night and day difference it's it's incredible as far as icing we just run the factory tires in case h yeah we haven't had very good luck with dirt treads in our neck of the woods you want to talk about frustration h it all depends on the operator at too what you're pushing how heavy and wet it is also y you know operator goes on and takes a quarter to half a blade and got a full blade by the time you get to the end it's not so bad but when you try to grab that whole blade in the keep hogging that whole Blade the whole way down doesn't work so these a't going to work that good either if there's ice underneath it and it's all the way you operate in common sense you know uh-huh all right should I get mine and try to lift up the back for you uh yeah you can y we'll give her a shot all yeah sorry about that wish I could have made it easy on you going back turn were like that far off the ground the last thing I want to do is have that slam to the ground so when you can't lift you just use a bottle jack watch yourself be straight forward does it get it up high enough for you guys or you got to fight it [Music] all right she done load up the tight old ones and now we got our winter meat on [Music] what all right guys thankk you very much I hope you guys have a safe ride home you're welcome no problem change one play War see which one digs in dirt better yeah we're going to find out we'll find out if we ever get snow right sh up a footb field here real quick yeah and I hope you guys stick around for the ride cuz if we ever do get snow we're going to definitely be letting you know how these uh hold up I'm excited my first set of winter tires on a loader I've always done the uh homemade makeshift uh type of thing and uh you know I think there's going to be I think there's going to be something to be said about these softer rubber compounds and dedicated tires and there's a lot of engineering that goes into these tires so that's it for this one God bless go get them you guys we'll catch up with you later have a great one [Music] now
