Unusable Backyard Gets Epic Transformation - Part 1 of 2
What happens here
An excavator is used to dig a trench along the property line to install a French drain, which is critical for managing water runoff and meeting zoning requirements. Perforated PVC pipes are laid into the trench, and the trench is lined with a non-woven fabric. This fabric prevents soil from clogging the drainage system. Downspouts from the house are connected to this new drainage system to divert rainwater away from the foundation.
Goal: Install a French drain to manage water runoff and comply with zoning regulations.
