Explanation of Front-Feeding Mechanism
At 0:11 in
Typically you see a feeder and dispenser system at the back of a trailer not at the front?
What happens here
A man explains that moving material towards the front allows for better weight distribution between the axles of the truck and the trailer, helping to control sway and improve towing stability. He points out that this design negates the need for a separate lift gate on the back of the trailer for unloading. The conveyor can move an entire load up to 30 feet towards the front. He further explains that this design works in conjunction with a dedicated lift kit for machines, which raises the entire trailer up to 60 inches, making the loading and unloading process much easier, particularly for equipment like a track hoedresser or a 420 SP.
Goal: Understand the benefits of the trailer's front-feeding conveyor and associated lift system.
