Drying and Final Inspection

What happens here

After the final coat of undercoating has been applied, allow it to dry and cure completely according to the product's instructions. This typically means it will be touch-dry in 1-2 hours, but fully cured and hardened in 24 hours. Once the undercoating is no longer tacky, carefully remove all masking paper and painter's tape. It's best to remove the tape before the undercoating is fully hardened to prevent it from peeling off with the tape. Inspect the treated area for any missed spots or areas that need touch-up. Also, check for any accidental overspray on unintended surfaces and clean immediately with an automotive solvent if necessary.
