Introduction and Pasture Assessment

What happens here

The video begins with an introduction from the farmer, who discusses the rising costs of farming (fuel, feed, hay) and the importance of finding cost-effective solutions. He highlights the impact of drought on his North Carolina pastures and the current sparse grass growth. He then introduces the day's tasks: moving his cattle to a new pasture section and dragging the currently grazed pasture to spread manure, emphasizing the benefits for soil health and grass growth. He checks his ATV (a Honda Rubicon) and prepares for the day's work, including consuming a breakfast bar and coffee.

Goal: Understand the project's purpose and assess current pasture conditions
