Treat your stuff right and it will treat you right.

What happens here

Conduct a thorough inspection of the tires on all mowers, trucks, and trailers. This includes checking the tire pressure using a reliable gauge, visually inspecting for signs of wear, cuts, punctures, or dry rot on the treads and sidewalls. If necessary, inflate tires to their recommended pressure using an air compressor. Beyond tires, inspect the undercarriage of all equipment and vehicles for any loose bolts, damaged components, fluid leaks, or other signs of wear and tear that may impact safety or performance.

Goal: Identify and address any issues with tires or the undercarriage of the equipment and vehicles.

Tools and materials

  • Air Compressor — Inflating tires to the recommended pressure
  • Flashlight — Illuminating dark areas during underbody inspections
  • Jack Stands — Safely supporting raised equipment or vehicles during underbody inspection
  • Tire Pressure Gauge — Checking and verifying tire inflation levels
