What happens here
After the new bed lines are established, the areas where the old, wider beds used to be are filled in with fresh soil. This soil will eventually be seeded to grow new grass, restoring the lawn in those areas. The new beds are then filled with black mulch, which helps retain moisture, suppress weeds, and provide a clean, finished look. A white, concrete curbing is installed along the edge of the new beds, separating them from the lawn.
Goal: Prepare areas for new grass, cover beds with mulch, and install decorative curbing.
