What happens here

This project details the essential steps for safely preparing heavy equipment, specifically a multi-tool bucket, for transport on a flatbed trailer. It includes attaching the hitch to the truck, connecting the trailer, loading the equipment with a skid steer, and securing it using chains and load binders, with emphasis on proper techniques and safety considerations.

D winner winner chicken dinner I went to Harbor Freight and for like 12 bucks they got these little Dent poers with like uh hot glue crank it and it pulls the dents up they said it made them feel 20 years younger so a testosterone replacement good morning good evening good afternoon we're down at the yard let's see what's cooking we get a lot cooking a lot going on today it's going to be a fun day uh we're going to go out and demo stuff cuz we don't have any snow and we need some equipment therapy time and Timmy's here somewhere walking [Music] around whose truck is that that's freaking phenomenal piece of equipment morning Timmy morning stand did you find it we yeah yeah where is it right inside that Ripper bucket I might take that bucket too there do them both I got brush in my house and different things yeah what are we doing I'm tearing down my shed a tree fell on it um it's kind of an ice orb just falling down got to I got to pull some stuff out of it yet but how long we had that beak oh man oh I want to say like 5 years even more I'm not really good with time like that but I'm not either has it g has it given us any issues um the only thing is this and that was you know from I think we you're talking about bending that spring that's it I really don't um I me we we haven't even ruptured any hoses fittings nothing no I think these are new hoses okay so we did replace the hoses I'm sure yeah yeah cuz it snag down stuff yeah it would be unreal we use this beak for lots of stuff that uh it's hard on it so tryan and it's it's in it's in the demo so yeah these always end up getting snagged one you know when something falls on it so yep and then we're going to sell this trailer right here and this is uh I love this trailer but I don't have I don't have the hitch for it anymore and the truck that we have that I pulled with it is got Salters in it now so brand new trailer basically brand spanking new I used it to film hauling some trees and Johnny uses it to dump garbage in okay but look it the bottom has not even got the paint off from it there's no scratches in it yet no no scratches in it no scratches anywhere it's got some grass growing free grass free free grass uh this is a phenomenal trailer though uh with got the side door beveled sides I'm not trying to sell it to you I'm just explaining it to you you got Fork Pockets right there underneath it's got ramps on the back um The Horizon quality if we look at the Horizon quality look at the you look real close at the paint uh so as you look at these things like we when I bought this I had it Side by each with I think a PJ tra and the paint on the PJ is dimpled everything so this this trailer's been around sitting here for a couple years and she's just I mean everything that these Horizon guys do is it's good stuff and if you don't buy mine go buy a different one it's good it's a good trailer we have somebody do a little denty dent on our rice trailer not I'm aware of Maybe not maybe that was in manufacturing I think it is yeah that's paint cuz it's painted painted still over so what trailer are you taking I'm going to take this one okay why not yeah that's a great trailer that is a great trailer what do you think of it uh I like it so far they haven't pulled a heck of a lot with it yet so nice and we got the Diamond Sea in the Southland and then we've got this one are we hey Tim are we going to sell this big equipment trailer we're going to sell this one yep 1988 tow Master is what I believe it is with an integrated fuel tank so it's a usable trailer that we don't use and it's just going to sit here and yep just just going to sit here now you did a bunch of work on it didn't you uh yeah what did you do to it we replaced boards on there replac some of the boards and replac the oak on the top it was 2in Oak we we overpaid for that Oak too oh yeah yeah that's bad time buy wood so bad time to buy wood but it's got 2in thick oak on it it does need looks like it needs a board or two over there and I can't get at it that's a triaxle triple triple uh T tag axle crank and I forget what they did under they did we re well we rebuilt that thing yeah they did a whole bunch of work underneath but that was a little while ago that was a couple years ago but we had Alex stripped that son of a duck down and I think no I actually took it to a trailer company where they did a bunch of oh after that y cuz we rebuilt it ourself then we got the new trailer but then you brought it in to have some what uh we serviced it so it' be doed you know like got everything up to code and up to Snuff underneath there and they redid I can't remember what they redid huh I'm sorry man getting all brain doesn't remember things that they used to I'm do I'm going to try something called bio t b i o t hormone therapy replacement for men and they do it for women is it over the counter well you go see this doctor and I heard this from the T pigs okay who T pigs they're on Instagram they're friends of mine they're about my age and the dude Paul and his wife Kim both do it for men and women they said it made them feel 20 years younger so a testosterone replacement testosterone because your testosterone mine just has naturally gone down right that's where the fatigue comes in that's where the achy joints come in like I can't even freaking move these fingers without it without pain right and these guys Paul said Paul what Paul convinced me he's like he gave up mountain biking he he gave it up it it was his favorite thing to do with his kids he couldn't do it hurting his shoulders he's like I started to do this hormone therapy I'm the one leading the pack I can't my kids can't even go don't even can't keep up with me I'm like that's that kind of says it all right there yeah so I called today I'm going to see if I can't get in and give it a shot see what it's doing give me the number twoo you want it I'm not kidding man you're just saying achy joints everything yeah fatigue overall fatigue it's supposed to fix that it's supposed to give you the hormones that you had back when you were in your 20s but you're putting those hormones in a body that's in Done Construction for 25 years and 35 years so you're not going to get the exact same results but you are going to definitely feel a difference supposedly I've never tried it no I've heard of that too you have heard of it yeah but I you know yeah I've gotten tested and testosterone at at good levels so they you got tested for it I got tested from my doctor just to see where my levels were at when oh boy probably 4 years ago oh okay yeah they got to test you before they can do it yeah and I was I was right within the range okay so I was like dang guess and I'm glad to see you using your Stu makes me feel like an old man when I use my St I need a tool box so go yeah I found this one 600 bucks got a few dings in it but bought it off a Facebook Marketplace then I got a little had some pretty big ones in the top then I went to Harbor Freight and for like 12 bucks they got these little Dent poers with like uh hot glue so you put hot glue on there and then you you um crank it and it pulls the dents up huh so I pulled a few out until that thing snapped in half on me but it was still um worth it for 12 bucks then I was heating it up with a heat gun too and then I throw some snow on it and then it would you could see the the metal move too oh tried a few different things but otherwise yeah it was a good deal for a half price basically and it's brand new okay so one of the things that a lot of guys aren't aware of is your hitch system is only as good as the very weakest point and most time guys compromise right here the hitch pin becomes the weakest point so the hitch you can have a 20,000 lb rated hitch but if your hitch pin is only rated to 10,000 lb or 15,000 lb you only have a 10,000 lb rated hitch and then I've seen go seen guys have is flipped over where this is on top to gain a little height and then you they have it bolted to the very top thing and I always kind of wonder how that uh that derat the hitch quite a bit there or if it's still could handle it either way boy I don't know I'd rather that's a great point I would rather have her bolted on so that it's can it's as in line with the actual hitch versus having it up here and having yeah cuz then you're trusting you know you're pulling this is this you know way it's designed is to pressure down then you're pulling it the other way when you flip this over you're pulling out on that well you're trusting that a lot more you know yep I uh no justice ding winner winner chicken dinner yeah you're good there you go winter winner chicken dinner that black line on the screen to where it kind of blocks it loxs right down the middle you can't see what you're doing there ah it's too precise technical Timmy say dud never used to have any backup cameras you just look at even it up between the sides yeah you'd use the sides of the trailer you never had a backup camera now even now I don't believe in using I'm going to try don't want to lose my skills yeah don't want to lose my skills Noe well I do actually I use them a lot more than I used right [Applause] first thing I always do is just lock this in right away what are you locking in there that's the pin that that locks this little tab into the that is where it's at that's it that's a weird one yeah that's different I always like the pin better and the and the uh the actual crank is different too yeah you like it have up like that not necessarily I'm shorter but it it's not that bad actually you haven't cracked yourself in the jaw yet uh not yet okay now I probably will yeah just give yourself a couple more times and I'm sure you'll you'll do it now he's got to blow on it that's the secret to a good connector that that courtesy blow is that what you call that a courtesy blow courtesy I courtesy puff never really gave it a name but uh you're pretty good at that courtesy puff yeah you're pretty good at that thanks buddy kind of think I know where you're going with this um take the toothy bucket to toothy bucket in the beak I'm going to throw that on there right now oh okay okay find some chains this is too nice inside nobody's been putting any chains in here yet we should put some of a kind of a mat down I think down here yeah that is pretty in there that is pretty in there isn't it yep something down there so if you guys aren't aware Timmy's got his own shorts channel it's called dirt monkey tools and equipment and then I've also got a shorts Channel separate from the one you guys watch me on here called dirt monkey favorite finds and what we do is we just take different perspectives of the jobs and we look for cool tools gear and Equipment share that along the way so if you like you want to go on the on the front Square D ring or you go off the D ring there crisscross I suppose I I'll probably with this one I'll probably around this one and then go over the top if we go in the middle you want okay so what do we are we criss-crossing both or just just this one we can Criss-Cross both Crossing it going to work up to you up to you so I twist it though don't matter huh right over like that go from there to there you got a second yeah right here you got you got one right there too is there two in there yeah oh yeah okay you didn't think that P that's why I felt so heavy dude I was like damn what's happened to me well you got an extra just in case you need one which you can always always good to have an extra all right question for you do you prefer to have your tie downs all on the same side and on the driver's side yep I do okay me too me too so the load binders Tim and I put them on the driver side all on one side so that you can have a the clearest visual indicator of how the heck your load is doing and that's also why I opted to get on the passenger side and hook the chains up cuz the driver side is the guy that has the most work he you want me to throw that extra chain in the box or where do you want me to put I'll put it in the back in the truck I don't want to I got to get some kind of coating on the bottom of that I don't want to scratch them all up now I don't like going through the back of the truck but I don't think you can drop the date cuz it goes right on the camera that on it it does it what are you saying well on one of the trailers if you lay down your tailgate it hits the Jack perfectly hits right here it's got to be the diamond SE then possibly yeah cuz the diamond se's got that thing something or the shirt track that's the only two other ones you do right what's the Southland doing at your house uh oh getting ready to haul yes for hauling garbage out and stuff but I haven't it's been sitting there for since winter so you've been prepping for this job for a long time all right guys well we've got most of the tools we need to do the demolition job coming up but not quite everything and of course in typical fashion it just doesn't go the way we want it to so hit that subscribe button come back for more cuz we're going to show you exactly what I'm talking about in the very next video but that's it for this one God bless you guys and go get them and we will catch you guys on another one
