What happens here
Begin by opening the container of AquaCoat Cabinet Grain Filler. Using a plastic spreader or squeegee, scoop a small amount of the white, paste-like filler onto the wooden surface, which in this video appears to be the top of a dresser or cabinet. Spread the filler evenly across the surface, applying moderate pressure to ensure the product is worked deeply into the wood grain. Continue to spread and smooth the filler, covering the entire area. Once applied, use the edge of the plastic spreader at a low angle to scrape off any excess filler from the surface, leaving only the product that has settled into the wood pores and grain lines. This technique ensures a smooth, filled surface ready for subsequent finishing steps.
Goal: Fill the wood grain for a smooth finish
