first got new glasses yeah my daughter suggested that I get rid of all my old Oakley's because she thought I look like a nerd and oh and it goes I'm gonna let him wear them for a few minutes let us know what you think about his glasses but look at his shirt my super rad shirt tight and sent it to me yeah that is one sick that's what we have we have a couple of them to give away tonight oh we can give away a couple of those but they're really there's always specific sizes well that they would be happy with whatever they got may have a large and I think we have an extra-large and yes we can give away two of these to make large as an at large and you will be rad like Chris Brown so what do you guys think of my glasses yeah I think you could take him off because we're inside but he thought they looked really cool with his Titan shirt look somebody say he's diggin the shades I'm seeing is pretty cool ok but he could take them off now so tonight's topic is on painting cabinets we're gonna give you some tips and tricks you know we've been painting cabinets for three years in the way we're gonna teach you the math that are talking about the method we use of in painting cabinets for 15 or more years we I think we've got it like we're almost perfecting it but well I think why don't we comfortable my shades I know well the thing is I like this I don't because I can't see your eyes cuz I'm like heightened I'm dead there's no more nerves because I'm hiding behind the shades now hi Jimmy ginnis on Ryan you and your husband says he wants an extra large we got Andrews on thank you very tell you about a device or machine that Kris started using a few years ago that has helped him and so we just want to introduce you to it if you don't know about it and you know he did it a different know and never been hi doll Idaho is really big into the outdoors hunting fishing I'm I'm a bass fisherman hunt waterfowl and and you know snowboard bike a little bit if you do have any good duck recipes I have a lot of duck I need to cook so yeah share those so we want to be an environment where we share well sure we share this team so if anybody out there knows how a good recipe to cook ducks cuz last year we just were experimenting and never really found like the amazing recipe but had some some friends might give me some I mean we absolutely butchered the goose we did and that didn't taste too good but send me your death duck recipes what you marinate it in if you just have something simple that you marinate in let us know in the comments below that'd be pretty cool yeah accessories we paint I'm going to show you this killer way that we came up with spraying doors and stuff so we're going to talk about that how you can spray a cabinet door and oh one shot they oughta let it drive hang at the same day that's pretty cool so so um what else for you yes another and that the day before that was Afton's last dance so Afton's last rain was at last dance she's because she's moving on to college so early ready for that she's going to college early actually if we see any like duct stuff we have to any duck recipes and them mess oh yeah so perfect I know she McKenna said because if they should put in the live show right now we wouldn't be able to see it because if he goes away see she's thinking look at Food Network very good all that money I'm spinning on her in college man she's like on it that's like so cool she's graduating from college this year yeah yeah my daughter on is McKenna is the social media manager and she's she's the one that can see here and type and throw that stuff in there so when you see that unfortunately John John knows a lot about painting cabinets and stuff but John just left the job site where we were painting with and he's on his way home he's I'm not sure if he's gonna be able to make it on tonight well but the good thing is it's calling you yeah um said home it's one of those because we're calm but um the thing is is we have videos so we're just gonna introduce you notice that that cup I just notice that it there who bought me that I did did you know they can see it that's interesting I just can't help it it says homecoming dance and so that's really cool and she's graduating early heading off to Washington State University Wazzu so it was kind of cool to see her and go I took photographs and stuff and there is what I photograph on Instagram once again if you know falls on Instagram and I'm there I put a picture of her on Instagram with her date and then I put an Instagram with me in my ducks oh you did okay well he's gonna eat them so we don't waste them it's not and it's okay for the environment I still I'm not a hunter but that's okay I support you so anyways I definitely you know we've had a lot going on in our country and around the world and so um you know I just think I'm so thankful for my family and for you guys that are with us every week I mean it's like I see the same names and I feel like I'm getting to know you guys and so you know just it's so important with all the bad stuff going on to just be connecting to your family and my brother's a fireman and he was here a little while ago but he fought the fires down in Southern California and he got sent up to Northern California and he's up there right now so I'm praying for his safety and you know it's just really bad up there but it's been really cool because I have an aunt and cousins that live up there and he hasn't seen him for years and so he's been able to spend a little bit of time with them and so that's the blessing in the midst of a horrible situation yeah so um that's really cool those blessings are out there so so we show up there and hopefully I'm ready for safeties yeah they're coming out so and you did say we're seeing a lot of the same names which is just really cool but check this out here's names that I haven't seen before um we got Eric fallout guy thank you for thank you for being with us and and so oh we got our new this is our new girl shirts in the church so they're cool I made Adam that makes nice ones nice material in this guy you know the Whitman's v-cut nice I like it much better yeah so cool so we're working on our website to be able to sell those for a better price yeah I'm directly from us so hopefully in the next month we will have our online store up and running where you can buy the hats and when you could buy the shirts and a few different items and like I said they're gonna be more affordable because they're gonna come directly from us instead of somebody else yep so yeah try me custom painting I haven't seen them in there a second how do you how do you out buy from our online store so right now I mean we do have if you go to my website Dee Idaho painter com we have a certain hat store which has a whole lot of different paint life stuff from cops to coffee cups to hats and everything and they don't have this hat specifically this is one that I've made specifically for our workers and stuff and us to work with but you can go to its on my website the animal painter combo you can buy all kinds of paint life stuff and then my tool store is there were all the tools that we find in there that we have in our vehicles that we paint with and we actually you we've created our own tool store on the website and you can purchase them there and purchase in our shirts and hats they're due just go to help you know funding our shows and stuff our shows and videos and so it's a simple way to help us we do have email support phone support we sell copies of our own Tony page bid packet that no you know it's took me eight to ten years to create and develop it wins this lot of our bids and stuff but yeah I just wanted the store we're having our own online store created John who is super talented is making the store it's super cool it's coming out where it's gonna sell just we're gonna sell specifically some things that we want to just brand the hi-de-ho painter we're gonna have our own paint brush our the shield holder that we use cardboard shield over our hats and our stickers will be sold there so we're gonna be selling our stickers on there and it's coming soon John's got it almost done but we're just a few cats things that we got yeah so we have we have things to do but that will be more always gonna stuff more affordable so we're talking about this cabinets we're talking about this sprayer first because oh yeah probably for 10 plus years how did you paint cabinets yeah so I'm painting cabinets was is I would say for at least 10 years 1012 years the way I went about painting cabinets and anything like detailed like I'm hand railing and I wrought iron fences with small biggest we did it with an airless sprayer and you can get a good finish with an airless sprayer I mean I would have a lot of satisfied customers no unsatisfied ones with an airless sprayer and that's what I knew and really all I knew and I'd never touched an HVLP sprayer you know in my career and then I got this sprayer not this this one right here they can see it so that's a Titan cat spraying sprayer I got that sprayer on this identical sprayer this one's brand new but I got it and it was a little intimidated with it didn't know how to use it and kind of just learned a little bit John started messing with it and he's learned how to use it first and then taught me and then we started painting cabinets with it this transfer pump laughs Lincoln yeah what is that transfer the transfer pump is me you just said it longer we'll talk about the transfer pump a little bit that's the castrate unit right there and once we leave it now we learn how to use it fast and then that the difference in the quality of your finishes I thought our cabinets were really really good in high quality hands down doing it with an HVLP sprayer nothing is better doing it cabinets um you can paint them with our method you can paint them faster and just get higher quality finishes with an HVLP sprayer like doing wrought iron fences the amount of product that you use so you're gonna use this product but not put as much product in the air and stuff so the volume that you put it in the air is a lot less you can really dial in control your spray patterns control them down to very small your circular patterns to wider patterns it's just the HVLP sprayer is so much more versatile and gives you a much finer finish and our cabinets now and we're after we're done with them they look like they came out of a cabinet shop so yeah it's good so how expensive are these machines so that value unit right there um it comes with a gun it comes with the Maxum elite gun this gun comes with that comes with the hoses in a full set up that thing is ready to go and I think it's around $1,500 so I mean if you're gonna do this for a living it's a really good option and investment to buy because you're gonna have a better finished product and you're gonna feel better about what you're doing yeah yeah the matter the amount of money that we charge for cabinets and the money that we make on the cabinets you know we can pay for that machine in one cabinet job yeah and what did you gather jobs they would pay for itself right this how about a DI wire if they really want a good finish is it worth it and it is really worth it and it's worth it because not only doing cabinets I mean it's pretty amazing you can do sprite hands oh oh yes you can say yes yeah you can spray tan your wife oh that was wrong I gave you is wrong but work though didn't it it was sad because it make you look better like right so I we used that we did we set it up and cuz my daughter was going and paying money getting spray tans and bar dance write this for a dance and it was $35 enjoy I went and watched her to get this spray tan why didn't watch her cuz you they you know they I guess they don't have clothes on when they get straight so I didn't watch her but I went in afterwards and I said how do you guys do that and um it was a friend of mine that was doing that and she showed me and it was with a setup just like this but it was a really cheap gun and a little cheap gravity-fed setup and I'm like oh my gosh that's just an HVLP sprayer and I'm like it's a guys like where did you get the spray tan stuff and she's just like I get it online and I'm like wow I just wouldn't bought a bottle of it and then I spray tan on my daughter and for the next dance and then we were doing anybody talking or no no I think every school and everybody's gone we're just talking this room by ourselves weird we're just doing this live show by ourselves so but so the cabinets it's the good but how about like small furniture furniture on excellent point spray and furniture with an HVLP sprayer very good idea finer finish that uses shadow and professionally I'm in the beauty industry airs air brushes what's the air brush um I thought that I thought this is well I mean I don't know terminology but it's not an airbrush tell air brushes is what you use with I think HVLP spray doors air brushes I'm not sure yeah so um Erin guppy I need a tan he's from Canada yeah Michael Oher says how I want to get a spray tan they are they think it's over spray all over with a spray tan yeah I don't know oh yeah when when I did this breakdown I hadn't I had a mountain no the grass yes cuz it has throw overspray like everywhere when they did it like in the were they doing a booth when you don't get on the dolly so yeah we can do a live spray tans yeah no no not I can do not a you not again not a good idea alright so we're talking about how 10 plus years you used a 440 or the 395 Grieco and it was okay but once you found out about this and did the small learning curve it's it's a very good machine so um I mean we started off in the first set of cabinets we painted this is the first set of cabinets weren't good that quality the canvas were good I mean we've definitely gotten better over time but the learning curve is I mean you learn fast it's easy it's it's not it's it can't feel that I I think I just never did it before because I just thought I looked you look at the gun economy may be a little intimidating all these little hoses gadgets levers and everything and you compare that to an airless spray gun that just has a trigger and the guard comes off I mean this guard comes off and there's parts and pieces and stuff like that and you know you're just like goodness sakes I mean but you have any videos telling how to use it I do so I have we have videos on how if you want to what we don't go over tonight or what we do go over I got into more detail on YouTube we got videos painting cabinets the whole process how we go about setting it up we sell we spend the doors and spray them and and how to operate you know one of these guns you know just simple you got you got your material feed you know your air flow and all these other levers
