What happens here

This project provides a step-by-step guide on how to prepare and customize 'Exact Color Sealant' caulk cartridges by adding various tints like paint, water-based stains, or metallic paint. It covers the process of injecting the tint, mixing it within the cartridge, and then loading the custom-colored caulk into a standard caulk gun for applications such as matching siding, cabinetry, granite, or tile.

hey that guy you know you showed me this product from James Hardy and I'm not a cider but um apparently ciders need to use exact color caulking so they can you know match the caulking to the siding because it comes you know pretty finished what is this stuff um about you showed this to me yes this this is just an example of a touch-up thing right so when you get your signing drop a lot of times it'll come with touch of paint such that you can fix any shipping imperfections or nail walls or anything like that this goes perfectly into our exact color product where you just take a little bit of this shoot it in mix it up and you can match any color with with that touch-up paint so ciders will typically if you're um James Harden siding and it comes out like this is a Country Lane red that's the touch-up paid you know for the siding you can just add some of this touch-up paint to the exact color sealant and have talking now that matches exact it's going to be a Country Lane red yeah that's that's pretty amazing and you don't have to like order tons of it you know you can simply buy if you only need one too you can get one tube done and made I think it's like it's literally um you know 30 seconds of mixing I think um 30 minutes um set up time and we can start using it so that fast you've got you know caulking that matches your siding so Nate um another question I have it shows right here uh a stain product so if you're a cabinet you know maker or cabinet refinisher can you actually add stain to exact color you can so any water-based stain can go in here so if you want to stay away from oil base right it'll be like oil and water you won't get it in but if it says Emulsion on there you can make semi-transparent stains you basically just want to use about half the amount of paint right so if you're doing stain you want to use about 10 or 15 milliliters to make sure that it stays semi-transparent like that yeah so when you have like Corner if you got seams and stuff now there's a like a gap that doesn't look nice you can actually you'll put stain in your exact color you can match your your Cabinetry and I also say you can actually even do it with like granite or tile so with even with metallics yeah we put in a water-based metallic paint there right to make a really cool accent effect I actually have a bathroom that has you know a granite um backsplash and then it has a granite countertop and that seam that 90 degree seam it cracked you know um probably within a year because it was just grouted and there's gonna be some movement right there I can actually just um cut you know color match that and put that right in the coffee and cop that instead of grouting right yeah that's gonna be great because it's designed to move right so you won't get that [Music] thank you [Applause]
