Switching Mowing Decks (Finish to Tough Cut)

What happens here

After completing the fence line mowing with the finish deck, the presenter demonstrates the quick and easy process of changing attachments on the Ventrac 4500Y. First, he releases a hook on the finish deck from the operator's seat, allowing the tractor to back away from the attachment. Next, he maneuvers the tractor to align its loader arms with the 'tough cut deck' (brush hog). Once aligned, he simply drives forward to engage the attachment, connects the drive belt to the pulley by hand, pulls it tight, and secures it. This entire process takes less than a minute, showcasing the tractor's versatility.
