A professional designer used specialized computer-aided design (CAD) software on a laptop to precisely trace the shape of each individual flagstone piece from the original fire pit patio. Following this, each traced stone was assigned a unique number. A printed layout plan, showing the numbered flagstones arranged in their new pathway configuration and the original fire pit layout, is displayed to guide the reinstallation process. This systematic approach ensures that every piece can be accurately identified and reassembled.
