What happens here

This video demonstrates the proper and safe method for disconnecting pressurized hydraulic hoses using a specialized hydraulic pressure release tool. The process involves attaching the tool to the hose, releasing trapped pressure to prevent oil spills and damage to fittings, and then safely detaching the hose. The tool is highlighted as being beneficial for various hydraulic systems, particularly those found in construction equipment like skid steers, where dirt and pressure buildup are common issues.

All right, Pat, what are we looking at with this thing now? >> This here is a hydraulic repressor release tool. And basically what you do is you end up screwing this back and it's going to take the center pin away way back. And then you're going to clip it on the hose that has pressure on and put that on like that. And then you screw this in. Put the hose in your EPA approved can and you screw this in. It'll release the pressure in the hose. So once the hose pressure released, just pop it off and put it in your equipment. >> And you have them for both male and female ends. >> We have them for just basically, I guess you'd call this the male end. So, but this is the female part. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> And then we also have one for the flat face skid steer. Okay. >> Where a lot of times you're, you know, builds heap, you got construction workers, you got stuff laying on. No, no more cracking the fittings, having juice run all over your equipment, >> right? >> You just simply hook this on, screw this down enough where the juice squirts out there, and then you're back in business. >> Right. >> Where what's the website for these things? >> polyskid.com. >> polyskid.com. Thank you, sir.
