This Paint Brush and Paint Roller Changed My Exterior Painting Forever

I do use a 3-in angled sash. Gives you the ability to just have more paint, cut in farther, stretch your paint out longer. I am brushing and rolling the trim. I'm using a 4-in roller on the exterior. I typically use polyester knit rollers. It's premier coat of wool. They're a lot more durable on the outside, so they'll last longer. A polyester knit will load up faster and unload uh better so you can actually paint faster on an exterior. You don't want to use a polyester knit roller on the inside. On the inside, knit rollers let lints go. And so you wouldn't see those lints on the outside. So the benefits to a polyester knit outweigh the negatives, you know. So we use polyester knits on the outside. You can see I'm using Premier's Riverdale paint brush to paint the trim. The Riverdale is a Chex filament brush. I do use a 3-in angled sash. 3-in gives you the ability to just, you know, have more paint, uh, cut in farther, um, stretch your paint out longer. Angled sash gives you the ability, the the filaments being angled to be able to get into points, cut in, you know, better in my opinion. Some people like flat, but I prefer angled just about on everything. So, those are the the tools I'm using. I always use a a two gallon cutting bucket, too, with a gallon screen. So, that's what I'm cutting in with. Chex filaments. Um, they're not great for the inside cuz they don't load up and unload paint. You can't cut in as far, but paints with all your exterior paints these days on the outside, they dry really fast. They have a lot of chemicals in them. Riverdale Chinx filament brushes. They're DuPont filaments. Best filaments made are by DuPont. These filaments clean up really, really fast and easy. Especially if you have employees that don't clean their brushes throughout the day. Dried paint could get all over that brush and will still just clean out like simply and easily. I like to clean my brush out, you know, a couple times a day. Chinax filament brushes, they don't absorb water like um tinex and oreo or polyester and nylon and lose their stiffness. A chex filament brush will keep keep its stiffness and make it so you could cut in outside for a lot longer. So the benefits of chex on the outside, you know, outweigh the negatives versus using it on the inside.
